Meghan Markle is being sued by her half-sister for allegedly making “false” statements in the interview she and Prince Harry had with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021. Samantha Markle filed the lawsuit on Thursday in Florida and it accuses the Duchess of Sussex of defamation “based on demonstrably false and malicious statements” made by Meghan in the interview. Meghan and Samantha share a father, Thomas Markle, who Meghan is now estranged from. Samantha is seeking $75,000 in damages.
